  • What is the best way to get in touch with you?

  • Where are you located?

    Our offices are located in New Haven, Connecticut. 

  • When are your business hours?

    Our business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET.  If you ever have a question outside of these hours do not hesitate to email us!

  • Do you distribute products directly to individuals or organizations?

    We do not warehouse or distribute period supplies directly to individuals or organizations. We work directly with our Allied Programs to distribute product.   

  • How can I get help with period supplies in my community?

    Individuals in need of period products are encouraged to call 2-1-1 in their local community and ask for assistance, or log on to 211.org for more information. 

  • When was your organization founded?

    Alliance for Period Supplies was founded May 1, 2018 as a program of the National Diaper Bank Network

  • How many Allied Programs make up the Alliance for Period Supplies?

    The Alliance for Period Supplies launched in May 2018 with more than 40 Allied Programs working in communities throughout the U.S.  We expect to add new Allied Programs each month as interest in our work grows.  

  • What is the Alliance for Period Supplies' relationship with U by Kotex┬«?

    U by Kotex is the founding sponsor of the Alliance for Period Supplies, a program of the National Diaper Bank Network.  Through the sponsorship U by Kotex donates period products to the Alliance for Period Supplies. More than 2 million period products were donated to help launch the Alliance for Period Supplies and millions more are expected to be donated through the support of retail partnerships made possible by U by Kotex. 

  • How are organizations receiving donations being selected?

    Currently, only Alliance for Period Supplies Allied Programs (member organizations) are eligible to receive product donations through the program.  All Allied Partners are independent, community-based nonprofit organizations serving individuals and families living in poverty. Donated products are given to individuals in need free of charge.

  • Is the program limited to helping only women and girls?

    Our efforts are open and available to all individuals experiencing a period and who are in need of help.  We are focused on helping increase access to period products to those who need it most.  

  • How many individuals can be helped with the donation of 2 million pads?

    Two million pads is enough to supply 500,000 individuals for a day during their period.  

  • Can other manufacturers and companies donate product to the Alliance for Period Supplies to help increase its impact?

    The Alliance for Period Supplies accepts product donations and financial support from all manufacturers and companies. The more donations, the more people we can help.
