During the month of May, the Alliance for Period Supplies—a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending period poverty in the United States—is marking its first anniversary by distributing more than five million donated pads and liners to communities throughout the country. The donation is made possible by the organization’s founding sponsor U by Kotex as part of the brand’s #WithUSheCan campaign.
Launched today, the Alliance for Period Supplies consists of more than 50 allied programs located in communities throughout the country, each dedicated to ensuring that individuals in need have access to essential period products necessary to fully participate in daily life.

The following results are from an online survey of 1,024 U.S. Americans ages 18+ regularly experiencing a period, including 294 adults with a household income of $30K or less. This survey was conducted by YouGov on behalf of U by Kotex. The survey ran from January 10-16, 2018 with a margin of error of +/-3%.
